I'm afraid of letting go

Surrendering control

I'd rather stick to the familiar

Habits that I know

 

But there's a better plan for me

And it's something I can't see

And I realize I have to learn

To trust God completely

 

So I'll set out on this journey

With Jesus at my side

The Bible as my compass

And the Spirit as my guide

 

I am the pilot

But alone I know I'll never find my way

I am the pilot

But by myself I always go astray

When I can't see the horizon

I got Jesus to focus my eyes on

And He'll keep me flying true

Whether skies are cloudy or blue

On the course set by my Creator

He is the navigator of my soul
